Our Wish List
Caring for our animals requires a lot of time, love, money, and supplies. Donated items from our wishlist helps us with the day-to-day care of our animals and supports our operational needs. If you have any questions about a wish list item, would like to donate something that is not on our list, or need a receipt, please call us at 607-324-1270. Remember all donations are tax deductible!
Donations may be dropped off in the shelter lobby during regular business hours (Tuesday - Saturday, 12 -5pm). Please place any donations dropped off outside of regular business hours inside of our small grey donation bin located under our pavilion to the right of the shelter.

Donate a Kuranda Bed
Why Kuranda beds? They are very durable, easy to clean and sanitize, making transmittable diseases easier to control. This makes them the perfect choice for the 24/7 use they will endure from our pups and kitties over many years to come!

- All brands of dry/wet cat and dog food. These items are provided to those in need through our Pet Food Pantry. We do accept opened bags of dry kibble as long as the food has not expired. No food goes to waste!
We are unable to accept the following items:

- Extra Large Dog Beds (they will not fit in our washing machine)
- Small animal supplies (we only have cats and dogs in our care)
- News paper/ shredded paper

If you have any of the bedding items listed above that you are looking to donate, you may place them in our Used Clothing Shed located between the shelter and Arkport Cycles.
