Dory
My name is Dory and I came to the shelter as a stray in February 2008. I am a 2 year old spayed female. I am such a nice girl! I love it when you pet me, and I will rub against you to show my affection. Don't be suprised if I follow you around the room. I just want to make sure that you don't forget about me! All you have to do is look into my big green eyes and I will melt your heart!
The Hornell Animal
Shelter provides safe and friendly shelter
and professional efficient adoption services
to the area's dogs and cats from our clean,
modern facilities.
To assure the safety and health of our animals
we provide all our dogs with vaccines, deworming,
baths and nail trims. Each of our dogs receives
walks and lots of playtime!
Each of our cats is quarantined
for 10 days upon arrival at the shelter and
is then tested for feline leukemia and feline
aids. They also receive a full battery of important
vaccinations prior to their availability for
adoption.

You
can tell that your dog has an earache by the way he
is acting. One thing the dog will do is scratch his
ear and whine, or will turn his head sideways. If this
happens there could be something in his ear. Do not
try to get the thing out of your dog's ear; instead
call your veterinarian to treat your dog's ear.
