My name is Daphne and I came to the shelter as a stray in December 2011. I am a 4 year old female mixed breed. I am a very sweet girl but I'm very timid. The shelter people have been working on my socialization, but I need to be adopted into a home with owners who will be patient with me until I learn that it's ok to trust. The shelter people are thinking that someone in my past must have beaten me because I'm very jumpy when it comes to sudden movements or loud noises. With the right home, I'll come out of my shell and be a wonderful companion.

My name is Delilah and I came to the shelter as a stray in October 2011. I am a 2 year old female Boxer mix. I am a very energetic girl and I love to go outside for walks! The shelter people would just recommend that I go to a home where I can be the only animal because I do not like other dogs or cats. I could also use some obedience training. So if I could just find someone who is willing to work with me a little and give me the patience I need, I'll make a wonderful companion!

My name is Joe and I came to the shelter in June 2011. I am a 10 month old male Shepherd / Rott mix. I have a lot of energy! So I definitely need someone to adopt me that has the time to train me. I am a friendly boy, however the shelter people recommend that I go to a home without young children, only because I'm very hyper and like to jump. I am very good at the 'sit' command...when there is a treat involved! And I'm still learning my manners when walking on a leash, but I'm getting better! And I love to be outside...i really enjoy playing in the shelter's outside fenced-in area. My favorite game is fetch! I'll even bring the ball back to you!
