My name is Blue and I came to the shelter as a stray in August 2009. I am a 1 year old neutered male. The reason I'm here is because someone was going to throw me into a river to get rid of me. Luckily, a nice man stopped that from happening and he brought me here. I feel like the luckiest cat in the world! Well, I've been here for about 6 months now and I am still looking for my forever home where I will be treated right. I am such a nice boy!

I was only 1 week old when I first arrived here, but I am now a 10 month old neutered male and ready for adoption! I am such a lovable cat! I am very playful and full of energy. I have lots of bundled up energy, being stuck in my cage, so you should see me when I'm out! I love to run around and play with the other cats. But as crazy as I can be, I am also very sweet. Once I've had time to calm down I become quite the little cuddlebug!

My name is Crash and I came to the shelter as a stray in November 2009. I am a 2 year old neutered male. Are you wondering how I got my name? Well, the reason why I'm here is because I was hit by a car. That's why they named me Crash! Clever, right? I wasn't her badly, just some pavement burns on my face. I even lost a tooth. But I'm all healed up now and ready for adoption! When I first came in, I had no idea what was going on. I was so scared. But once I realized the shelter people were just helping me, I started to relax and come out of my shell. Now, I'm the sweetest cat! I am very affectionate and love to be held and petted. I have the softest fur!

My name is Ginger and I came to the shelter as strays in October 2008. I am a 1 year old spayed female. When I first came to the shelter, I was terrified! I just didn't know what was going on. But since I've been here, I am slowly starting to come out of my shell. And for me, personally, I have come a long way. I used to cower in the back of my cage. But now, I enjoy running around the room, with all my new friends! I have even learned that I enjoy playing with toys! I love to be petted and scratched behind my ears. I have now been at the shelter for about 1 year and am patiently waiting for a new home.

My name is Jamie and I came to the shelter as a stray with my mom and 5 other siblings in March 2009. I am an 11 month old female. My mom and I are the only ones left here at the shelter. All the rest of my siblings have been adopted. I was only about 4 weeks old when I first came in, and now I'm almost 1 year. I've been here too long! I'm not sure why I haven't been adopted yet-I'm such a nice girl! I'm playful and I love the company of other cats. I hope I get adopted out of here before I hit the one year mark! I don't mind being here, but nothing compares to having a nice big house to run around in whenever my heart desires!

My name is Lucia and I came to the shelter as a stray in May 2009. I am a 9 month old female. I am very playful, and yes, I am laying in a dustpan. I was playing hide-and-seek with my cage buddies and I decided to hide there. Well, I though it was a good hiding spot.

Our names are Macaroni, Cheese and Cheddar and we came to the shelter as strays in December 2009. We are 6 month old males. We are all a little timid and need homes with someone who is willing to work with us. All we need is a little love and patience and we'll come around in no time! Since being here at the shelter, we've been getting socialized quite a bit and we are slowly coming around. The most timid one is Cheese, but he's coming around very nicely! The most friendly one now is Cheddar. He was one of the most scared when we first came in, but now, all you have to do is look at him and he starts purring! He also likes to be held.

My name is Marley and I came to the shelter as a stray in June 2009. The shelter people think that I was thrown from a car because I was found on the road with a few scrapes and bruises. Well, I am 10 months old now and am looking forward to the day when I find my new family. I have so much love to give!

I was stuck someone's garage and couldn't get out, so the shelter people had to come and rescue me. And are you wondering how I got my name? The shelter people thought it was neat how I looked almost identical to Quincy and I had the same sweet personality, so they decided to name me Quinton. I love to be around people and I love to play with other cats! My cage buddy right now at the shelter is Buddy.

They just left us in a box. Can you believe that? Well, I am about 8 months old and I am the last one from my litter. Everyone else has been adopted. I was definitely the shyest of the group, but I am very playful. I love to chase things around the room. One minute, I'll be hiding under the cages, then next thing you know, I run out to chase whatever toy is out. In my second picture, you can see just how playful I am. My only 'issue' is that I have some kind of birth defect in my brain - which is actually how I got my name. I am a fairly normal cat, but my head is always tilted to one side and I will spin around in circles. But I don't let it stop me from being every day activities. I still run around and play just like the other cats. I am as sweet as can be and once you spend a little time with me I will melt your heart.
